This research is a quasi-experimental study conducted at MTs Al-Ma'arif 1 Sorong Regency which aims to whether the use of picture series is effective in developing students' reading of procedural text material. The sample and research are the ninth grade students' of Al-Ma'arif 1 MTs Sorong Regency, which consist of class IX A as the control class and IX B as the experimental class, class IX A Consisting of 26 students and class IX B consisting of 26 students and the total respondents are 52 student
